Current Events: Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organised a workshop on Parent & Child Relationship on September 19, 2015 at Fylfot Public School (Banjarawala).

This workshop has been conducted in Fylfot Public School, Banjarawala, Dehradun keeping in mind the problems faced by parents and children as well due to lac of awareness among themselves through this workshop we made parents understand their child need and behaviour through remedial therapies, intervention & techniques which help them to grow there child happily.

Some easy in-door games were also introduced by S. J. Baniwal for keeping kids busy, which were really very helpful for parents and teachers as well they are not only games but improves the concentration power & intelectual level of a child and help them in their acadmics too.

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organised a workshop on Learning Disabilities on September 20, 2014 at Bhagirathi International School (Dehradun).

It has been noticed that students had been suffering from difficulties in studies unknowingly there are so many factors are involved in this activity and until unless we don't understand the causes and reasons of the problems the solutions are next to impossible .

So in this workshop parents and teachers get some tricks and tips to simplify educations and develop interest of their wards but as "there is no short cut for success" hard work is mandatory but still these techniques play vital role in the education.

This workshop has been conducted in Sai Grace Academy International, Raipur, Dehradun keeping in mind the problems faced by parents and children as well due to lac of awareness among themselves through this workshop we made parents understand their child need and behaviour through remedial therapies, intervention & techniques which help them to grow there child happily.

Events: Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) celebrates successful completion of three years by doing OTD (Old Things Distribution) on August 17, 2014 with all their team members in Leprosy Ashram (Race Course Dehradun).

They find this different way of celebrating this auspicious occasion as coordinating between the two groups who needs each other unknowingly , making others happy is the best source of being ourselves happy and creates a a lot of self-satisfaction to our inner soul. All members of team strongly believe in the concept of Dharma, love, peace & happiness said by Lord Krishna in �Geeta �wish that blessings of Lord Krishna always shower on us and we all wish good wishes of Janmashtmi.

Again Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) Team Celebrated Holi by Distributing Food Items On March 17, 2014 at Leprosy Ashram (Race Course Dehradun).

Holi is the festival of colours, is being celebrated across the country with fervour and gaiety today, is a part of our rich and diverse cultural heritage associated with the celebration of brotherhood and harmony that heralds joy & hope.

When we play Holi every colour look beautifull we all know that but there is a darker side as well like � illiteracy, poverty, unemployment etc these are the hard true colours of our society which we all ignore that�s why SBF has decided to celebrate there every Holi with the ignored individuals.

SBF team tried to overcome the issue like poverty of society by celebrating their every holi in Leprosy Ashram, by distributing them food items to make them free from their tension of bread & butter at least but. This is not enough they thought, a lot work can be done which is in progress.

�I would like to wish all the individuals staying at Leprosy Ashram a very - very HAPPY HOLI , may this festival brings all bright colors to their life and give them a power and energy to rejuvenate themselves".

Events: Sewa Bhav Foundation organized a events for music lovers on Wednesday December 25, 2013 at Urja Park, Patel Nagar, Derhadun � 248001.

There are many underprivileged talented youths out there with no funds to showcase their music talents. Sewa Bhav Foundation understands some of the financial hardships these youths face. It is against this background that SBF designed an opportunity for these youths who may be financially unable to emerge and record their project. The Sewa Bhav Foundation Music Talent Promotion Program is committed to the discovery and promotion of new and emerging musical talent and continues a long history of musical excellence and artistic contribution.

The Children of enhances and broadens the musical abilities of the talented underprivileged youth primarily by giving them the opportunity to learn and develop their musical abilities. Sewa Bhav Foundation intends to provide a platform for common people who have a passion for music, to give back to young local amateur musicians in the underprivileged communities. The musicians are intended to work both one on one and collaboratively with trainees in order to provide them with the adequate training necessary in enhancing their music skills.

Sewa Bhav Foundation also organized a Music Talent Competition for young underprivileged amateur musicians. During such events, cash prizes are usually won by individual artists (Dancers & Singers), trophies, medals, conciliation prizes, and certificate of appreciation. This is a way of sensitization and fulfilling the dreams of competing artists.

All the way Mr. Krishna stood first and Ms. Beena Chamoli stood second in dancing while Ms. Prerna Uniyal Stood first and Mr. Vineet Saxena stood second in singing.

The goal of the Music Talent Promotion program is to empower the talented underprivileged youth in such a way that it enables them to perform both individually and in an ensemble setup. They will also be able to design and work on self-selected music projects. We believe that the program will not only help the youth nurture their talents but it will also give them a platform to express themselves in ways that they could not previously do. In addition to personal development, they will be able to acquire soft skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership. We believe this program will greatly help their personal development and make them role models in their communities as they can use their gifts and talent to express themselves and be catalysts of social change.

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organized a workshop for women �Know Yourself� On July 10, 2013 at Banjarawala Dehradun.

At the time I started my work for community I noticed a serious careless attitude of women for themselves especially among housewives. They have completely lost their confidence and no personality improvement since they are married, actually women in our country is being treated as a student to cook, maintain well, make others happy, and put yourself in last, serve others, make sacrifices, compromises etc after getting married and this kind of education is being started since they are born which creates a problem in enhancing their personality.

Unfortunately our society support them to do so because of which the condition of females is becoming worst .So just to help them in the current scenario our team has conducted a workshop only for females to help them in understanding themselves and make a refresh and identify a spark and patience in them as well

Sewa Bhav Foundation Organized a Cricket Match between Two Child�s Team�s at Banjarawala, Dehradun.

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organized a Cricket Match between Team A & Team B on March 24, 2013 at Banjarawala, Dehradun.Team A won the match by 60 run against Team B.

This programme is designed keeping in view the generation gap, Attention and Concentration Problems, Behaviour and Adjustment Problem Social issues etc ,though it help in psychological development of students and boost up their morale also.

There is a lot of aggression seen in adolescents among there studies, living styles, parents, though they are small issues for us but our trust has organized a cricket match to give direction their energy, passion, aggression etc SBF want to motivate and encourage the youth of today to rise for the cause of the social upliftment and do their bit of contribution to overcome man made hurdles. It believes in breaking the shakles of unorthodox views and treats the entire human kind as one race. We don't believe in miracles, however we ensure to achieve something by our hard work and willpower which in turn would be labeled as "Miracle". Rest we believe is "Better Done than Said".

The children walked away with medals and smiles on their faces. Thanks to the supporters it was a great day ahead.

Sewa Bhav Foundation and International Institute of Pschometric Counselling Organized Workshop on "Needs of Counselling skills on Child's Development".

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) and International Institute of Pschometric Counselling (IIPC) organized a Workshop on "Needs of Counselling skills on Child's Development" on March 10, 2013 at Solar Energy Park, Patel Nagar, Dehradun.

This introductory workshop is designed for those new to counselling or those wishing to enhance their general helping skills. The workshop provides an opportunity to acquire basic communication skills and practical strategies to help people.

Participants will learn about the process of counseling and using a problem-solving model, how to work with clients to identify issues and implement plans and activities to address areas of concern. This is an interactive and experiential training where participants will work through scenarios, activities and role plays that will help them enhance their helping skills.

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organized a Workshop on "Effects of Parenting Styles on Child's Development on February 10, 2013 at Dehradun.

Parenting style is one of the strongest influences on how a child drinks as a young adult, a study suggests.

Authoritarian: Set absolute standards, value obedience and structure over freedom and exploration

Tough love: Expect children to conform to rules that can be negotiated. Encourage autonomy in decision making. It says ensuring teenagers do not have easy access to alcohol at home and monitoring drinking in the home environment is another important element of a tough love approach.

Laissez-faire: Emotionally engaged but tend to abrogate responsibility for setting rules. Few standards imposed.

Disengaged: Uninvolved emotionally with their children. Do not structure activities or set boundaries.

SBF Team Celebrated Christmas on December 25, 2012 at Aganbadi IV, Azad Vihar, Banjarawala, Dehradun.

Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organized a get together for lesser privileged children on the auspicious occasion of Christmas. .

Children from Anganbadi School by Sewa Bhav Foundation were invited for the event. A total of a 40 children between the ages of 2 to 5 years were present for the event. We have provided lunch packets, snacks, and toys in the form of gift . Actually it was the best way to celebrate Christmas because smile comes in its best and real form when it is below 5 years.

The children walked away with happiness on their faces. It was really too harsh for us to say them goodbye.

SBF Team Celebrated Children�s Day on November 26, 2012 at Aganbadi III, THDC, Banjarawala, Dehradun.

On the occasion of Children�s Day, Sewa Bhav Foundation (SBF) organized a celebration�s for lesser privileged children on Monday November 26, 2012.

Children from Anganbadi School by Sewa Bhav Foundation were invited for the event. A total of a 20 children between the ages of 2 to 5 years were present for the event.

We received support from Universal Services, and Mr. Amit Kumar Jain in terms of lunch packets, snacks, beverages and gifts. Interactive games were organized to cover all ages. The children participated in the various games with great enthusiasm and enjoyed.

The children walked away with gifts and smiles on their faces. Thanks to the supporters it was a great day ahead.

SBF Team Celebrated Holi by Distributing Food Items" on March 08, 2012 at Leprosy Ashram (Race Course Dehradun).

Dehradun: Holi, the festival of colours, is being celebrated across the country with fervour and gaiety today.

President S. J. Baniwal, Vice President R. P. Singh have greeted all on this auspicious occasion.

President Baniwal in her message said Holi is a festival of colours that heralds joy, hope and fulfilment in lives of people.

Vice President Singh in his message said this festival marks the onset of spring and is celebrated with joyous gaiety.

"I extend my hearty greetings and good wishes to all residents of Leprosy Ashram on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours.

The President in her message said the ''festival of colours'' is a part of our rich and diverse cultural heritage.

"The festival is associated with the celebration of brotherhood and harmony. Let the spontaneity and liveliness of this spring festival yet again affirm the togetherness of our multicultural nation".

Clothes Distribution" on February 05, 2012 at Leprosy Ashram (Race Course Dehradun).

Rural Poverty is not restricted to one section of the country. It is a matter of concern of whole country. Poverty and inequality in India are increasingly becoming polarized along regional and class lines. India accounts for 17% of the world's population and about 36% of the world's poor live in this country. The poor people don't even get food, cloth and shelter which are the basic needs of any human being.

SBF (Known as Sewa Bhav Foundation) has been organizing clothes distribution On February 05, 2012 at Leprosy Ashram Race Course, Dehradun for those who are in extreme need of clothes.
