1. Purpose

This Code ensures a respectful, safe and ethical environment across all Sewa Bhav Foundation activities.

2. Expected Behaviour

All members must:
  • Treat everyone with respect, dignity and equality
  • Follow child protection and PoSH guidelines
  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Use non-violent, respectful communication
  • Protect confidential information
  • Be punctual and responsible

3. Prohibited Behaviour

  • Harassment, discrimination or bullying
  • Any form of child abuse or misconduct
  • Intoxication during activities
  • Unauthorized use of NGO resources
  • Taking photos/videos without permission
  • Sharing internal information publicly

4. Safety Guidelines for Field Work

  • Follow instructions of coordinators
  • Avoid unsafe areas
  • Respect community norms
  • Maintain professional distance

5. Dress Code (If Applicable)

  • Simple, respectful and appropriate for field environments

6. Digital Conduct

  • No posting sensitive data
  • No negative comments harming the NGO’s reputation
  • No sharing child images without consent

7. Disciplinary Action

Violation of this policy may result in:
  • Warning
  • Removal from volunteer program
  • Blacklisting
  • Legal reporting (if required)
